Video stuck in generating
What to do if your video's script or storyboard is stuck in a generating state.
Script and storyboard generation usually complete within a few minutes. If a video has been stuck in a generating state for more than 10 minutes, something may have gone wrong.
Script stuck generating
- Refresh the page. The generation may have completed and the page just hasn't updated.
- If the status is still "Generating" after a refresh, wait 5 more minutes.
- If it's been more than 15 minutes total, the generation likely failed silently. Go to the video and click Regenerate script. You will not be charged extra credits for this retry.
Storyboard frames stuck generating
Storyboard images stream in one by one. If one or more frames shows a loading spinner for more than 5 minutes:
- Refresh the page.
- If the frame is still blank, click it and use the Regenerate button for that individual frame.
- If many frames are stuck, use bulk-select to regenerate all blank frames at once.
Image generation depends on third-party AI providers. Occasional slowdowns happen during periods of high demand.
