Troubleshooting

Render errors

What to do when a TubeForge render fails — how to read the error message, retry the render, and confirm your 100 render credits are refunded on failure.

If your video shows a "Failed" status on the render progress page, the render did not complete. Here's how to diagnose and recover.

Check the error message

The video detail page shows an error message when a render fails. Common errors:

  • "Voiceover generation failed" — retry the render; this is usually a temporary issue with the TTS provider
  • "Asset not found" — one of the storyboard images couldn't be accessed; go back to the storyboard and regenerate the affected frames before retrying
  • "Video duration exceeds plan limit" — your script is too long for your plan's maximum video length; shorten the script and re-render

Retrying a failed render

On the video detail page, click Retry render. If the same error occurs again, contact support with the video ID from your browser's URL.

Credits and failed renders

Render credits (100 credits) are refunded automatically when a render fails. The refund appears in your credit balance within a few minutes of the failure.
