The storyboard review
How to review, edit, and approve your video storyboard before rendering.
The storyboard is a grid of AI-generated images — one per script segment. Frames appear in real time as they are generated. You review each frame, make edits, and approve before the final render begins.
Editing a frame
Click any frame to open the edit panel. You'll see the AI prompt that was used to generate that image. Edit the prompt and click Regenerate to generate a new image for that frame. Regeneration costs 5 credits per frame.
Bulk regeneration
To regenerate multiple frames at once, hold Shift (or use the checkboxes on mobile) to select multiple frames, then click Regenerate selected. Each selected frame costs 5 credits.
Caption settings
At the top of the storyboard page you can set the caption font and caption color. These apply to all captions in the final video. Choose a font and color that contrasts well with your video's imagery.
Storyboard variants
Pro and Agency plans generate 2 storyboard variants per video. You can switch between them using the variant selector at the top of the storyboard page.
Approving the storyboard
When all frames look good, click Approve Storyboard. This locks the storyboard and starts the render queue. The render progress page will open automatically.
You can leave the storyboard page and come back — your progress is saved. The images you've already regenerated are not lost.
