Importing an asset from a URL

How to import an image into your asset library directly from a web URL.

Instead of uploading a file from your device, you can import an image directly from a URL.

How to import from URL

  1. Go to Assets in the sidebar.
  2. Click Import from URL.
  3. Paste the full URL of the image (must be a direct image URL ending in .jpg, .png, .webp, etc.).
  4. Click Import. TubeForge will download the image and add it to your library.

Only import images you have the right to use. TubeForge does not check image licensing.

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the URL points directly to an image file, not a webpage
  • Some URLs require authentication and cannot be imported — download the file and upload it instead
  • Images larger than 20 MB cannot be imported
