Connecting TikTok

How to connect a TikTok account to TubeForge for direct publishing, including Pro/Agency plan requirements, OAuth steps, and vertical 9:16 format requirements.

ProAgency

TikTok direct publishing requires a Pro or Agency plan.

Connecting TikTok allows you to publish 9:16 vertical videos directly to your TikTok account from TubeForge.

Steps to connect

  1. Go to Channels in the sidebar.
  2. Click Connect channel.
  3. Select TikTok from the provider list.
  4. You'll be redirected to TikTok's authorization page. Log in to your TikTok account.
  5. Accept the requested permissions.
  6. You'll be redirected back to TubeForge.

TikTok video requirements

TikTok publishing only works with videos in 9:16 (vertical) format. When creating a video for TikTok, select Shorts/Vertical format on the new video form.

TikTok's API has stricter content policies than YouTube. Videos with certain types of content may be rejected by TikTok at upload time.
